Ideas

Oktoberfest is very famous in Philippines. Everybody loves to party and drink a lot beer, of course during October. The idea set out was to have three photos, one with a girl showing off her feet, a view of Island of Malipano (in Samal), and a splash of beer. Giving more focus on those three subjects at the same time showing off the grand days of Oktoberfest, it was really fascinating how these ideas meld with the printed output.

Having a good representation of the word “Oktoberfest” is not simple. I’ve roamed around the web looking for a good & high quality source but there were none. At that time, I decided to use my Blender powers again. Having the feel of being unique, crowded, and fun. I’m glad I did a good job (or I’m just dreaming ;P).

This work was completed under Bert Barriga.

This is a promo video for the Information Technology Education Program in University of the Immaculate Conception.

Tools used:

• Blender – animation, modeling, rendering, compositing
• Avidemux – encoding
• Premiere – video capture. Yeah I know my video cam is worst than crap. :P
• Soundbooth – voice enhancement. Because of my old video cam, the audio was a disaster.
• Sound Forge – audio mix
