The “kadayawan festival” or some call it “The festival of festivals” is celebrated every 3rd week of August. Oooooppps, we’ll still need to wait for three more months. This will surely be a good wait because Kadayawan seems to be having a new brandy dandy logo. Look at that! It’s shiny as new.

There is no official announcement about these logo’s. I just got these images at their site, browsing at “kadayawan.com/images“.

I’ve been here in Davao since I’m born and the kadayawan logo has been sticking to its design, well this is what I’ve always seen in my whole lifetime. Here are some images I just found from my garage files.

I always see this kind of logo in the streets for some years now. It’s already been a standard to us Dabawenyos that looking to a wavy Aladding-like-font added with a tiny waling-waling flower (in the lower-left) is a sign that the “Kadayawan Festival” is airing in a few months. There’s still no official announcement about the logo. But this is really exciting if we’ll be having a new logo or just stick with the old design.
